Hawk Vision was awarded to conduct a qualitative research and analysis on mine/ERW survivors by UNOPS and UNMAS Afghanistan. The study conducted a qualitative research and analysis on mine/ERW survivors or their families to determine their behaviour, attitudes and knowledge of mine/ERW risks at the time of the incident. Further, the study was conducted to figure out the level of victim services that the survivors received after the accident.

The interview Phase started at 11 March 2019 and ended at 19 March 2019. 250 survivors of mine/ERW were targeted from 30 provinces of Afghanistan. To thank the survivors for their time and information, 500 top-up cards were transferred to each of the survey respondents.
