This public awareness project mainly aimed at protection of consumers and keeping them at safe side when they need purchase various sort of products around the markets in Afghanistan. Thus, the following accomplished activities were carried out by Hawk Vision’s media team that covered the awareness of beneficiaries about consumer protection in 32 provinces.
• Development of four TV & radio spots, total 8 (2 in Dari and 2 in Pashto) for TV and (2 in Dari and 2 in Pashto) for radio.
• Sending 10,000 customized messages to general public about consumer rights (both in Pashto and Dari)
• Development of newsletter template and monthly magazine, brochures, consumer protection file cover, monthly magazine.
• Development of brochures for awareness.
• Conducting public awareness workshops and seminars
• Conducting event management and organizing public awareness workshops • Built the capacity of the communication department of Consumer Protection Directorate CPD through on the job training and class training.
• Development and printing of CPCPD notebook, wall and desk calendars and writing of all promotional materials on DVD’s.
